Onn Fleek Review – The Company
When visiting the company website. I found that there is no info available on the owners or operators of the business.
So, I dug around a bit and after some more research I was able to find that the Onn Fleek website domain was registered privately as “onnfleek.com” on the 4th of October in 2017.
The company says they are operating from Argentina, and it seems likely as the languages provided on their website include English, dominantly Portuguese (Brazil) and Spanish…
Onn Fleek Reviews – The Products
The company promotes, Slay, a VOIP app.
Slay subscribers can use the app to make telephone calls for up to 400 minutes per month at a rate of $149.70 annually.
Onn Fleek Compensation Plan
Affiliates looking to take part in the company compensation plan are required to sign up and invest into the company.
Company affiliates are to invest either $299 or $1397 with the agreement of a 26-week earnings period where ROI is earned weekly:
- Invest $299 in a Store position and receive $40 a week for 26 weeks ($1040)
- Invest $1397 in a Mega Store position and receive $200 a week for 26 weeks ($5200)
After 26 weeks, affiliates must reinvest to remain eligible to earn with the compensation plan.
As an alternative, affiliates can retail bundled VOIP services personally with the ROI potential promoted as this:
- Store – $4341.30
- Mega Store – $21,556
With any new affiliate sponsored, the company will pay existing affiliates $20.
Further commissions are also earned by the affiliate when those personally sponsored new affiliates invest with the company:
- A $20 commission is paid when a personally sponsored affiliate invests in a Store position
- A $100 commission is paid when a personally sponsored affiliate invests in a Mega Store position
The company uses a binary compensation model to pay out residual commissions to its affiliates.
The binary compensation model puts an affiliate onto the top of a binary team, where the next level is divided into a left and right side.
The 1st level of a binary team holds two positions and the 2nd level of the binary team is made by dividing the first two positions into a further two positions each, creating 4 positions in total on level 2.
Any future levels of the binary team are made as needed, and each new level will hold two times as many positions as the level before it.
The binary team positions are filled through direct and indirect sponsorship of new affiliates.
NOTE: The company does not limit the growth of how deep a binary team may grow to.
However, the company does cap residual binary commissions at level 19.
With every newly invested Store or Mega Store position matched on both the left and right side of the binary team (at a 1:1 ratio), the company will pay $20 in residual commission.
Again, with a ratio of 1:1, affiliates that make an investment in a Mega Store position will earn $60 for every Mega Store position, matched on both the left and right side of the binary team.
Residual Store Commissions
The company uses a unilevel compensation model to pay out residual store commissions to its affiliates.
The unilevel compensation model puts an affiliate at the top of a unilevel team that places any personally sponsored affiliate on level 1 right underneath the original affiliate.
When a level 1 affiliate sponsors new affiliates, they are then put onto level 2 of the original affiliate’s unilevel team.
When a level 2 affiliate sponsors new affiliates, they are then placed onto level 3, and levels continue to be created like this down a hypothetical never ending amount of levels.
Payable unilevel levels are capped at Level 5, where commissions that are paid out will be on Store and Mega Store positions, and the Slay VOIP service subscriptions sold:
- 80 cents per Store position sold
- $4 per Mega Store position sold
- $2.99 per Slay VOIP service subscription sold
Cost To Join Onn Fleek
The cost to join Onn Fleek as an affiliate is the membership fee of $50, with the inclusion of either investment positions offered at $299 or $1397.
The investments positions are:
- 1 Store = $299
- Mega Store = $1397
Investment positions expire every 26 weeks, and must be renewed to remain eligible for weekly ROI earnings.
Verdict of Onn Fleek
Okay, now we’ve reached the end of the nitty gritty that needed to be discussed, all that’s left now is a final determination of the legitimacy of this company, and I would have to say I do not think this company is 100% legit…
Besides this company’s name, a term often used to describe perfection, that’s about the closest thing to ‘perfect’ in this business model…
First off, this business model has been seen before, in companies like TelexFree, where they advertise to try and capture the attention of millennials, hence their name brand…
The business model has been altered a touch, yes, but it seems to be the same scam nonetheless.
TelexFree is very similar to Slay, which was also a VOIP app, but TelexFree was cheaper to use than this company.
Also, FYI, there are tons of free calling VOIP apps out there, so be aware that your potential buyers could possibly just opt out to use the free products instead and you could be out of business sooner than later…
The company says it will sell purchased VOIP plans to retail consumers at a weekly rate for the duration of 26 weeks, based on their assessment of the Automated Sales System on Demand (A.S.S.D.) used.
If they had this system, then why would they need affiliates to buy VOIP subscriptions for retail…
They could use the A.S.S.D. to flag VOIP subscriptions themselves and then keep all the profits at a full 100%.
The comparisons to the TelexFree company seem almost identical when laid out side by side, and that company was investigated by the SEC and was discovered to be using newly invested funds from new affiliates to pay off ROI payments to pre-existing affiliates whom have already invested, and there were a lot of affiliates who got burnt in the TelexFree scam.
My advice? Be careful with this company as you are likely to lose your investment…
